(February 23, 2010) – black ice senior skated to a gold medal at the 2010 Spring Cup.

The competition took place in Milan, Italy February 12-14, 2010.

The team led after the short program and received top marks for their long program as well. The team placed first overall with a combined score of 204.88, a 36.26 lead over the second placed team, Team Berlin 1 who represents Germany. Dream Team from Russia received the bronze medal in the event.

Canada did not have any teams in the junior event at this competition.

Earlier this month, NEXXICE and Les Supremes had their junior and senior teams compete in Rouen, France at the 2010 French Cup. The event took place February 5th and 6th.

World Champion, NEXXICE senior won the bronze medal in the event with a combined points total of 202.76. Les Supremes placed sixth with a score of 184.94.

In the junior event NEXXICE skated to a total score of 166.24 which earned them the silver medal. Les Supremes earned a total point score of 150.32. They placed fourth.
