CanSkate Level 1 (Learn to Skate)

  • Thursdays 5:30-6:00
  • 30 minute session
  • Ages 3 and 4
  • Must be 3 by December 31, 2011
  • Starts Thursday, September 29, 2011
  • Ends Thursday, March 8, 2012
  • $200 Registration*
  • Learn to skate with Professional Coaches and Trained Program Assistants 
  • 1 per 10 Skaters
  • CanSkate Day of Champions is Thursday, March 1, 2012
  • No skating on Thursday, December 29 and January 5, 2012

 Skaters in CanSkate programs will be required to have *CSA approved helmet with face mask *Skates *Gloves or mittens

 

CanSkate Level 2

  • Thursdays 6:00-6:50
  • 50 minute session
  • Ages 5 and over (must be 5 by December 31, 2011) or have skated one season in CanSkate Level 1
  • Start Thursday, September 29, 2011
  • Ends Thursday, March 8, 2012
  • 22 Weeks
  • $365.00 Registration*
  • Continue to build on skating skills with Professional Coaches and Trained Program Assistants
  • 1 per every 10 skaters
  • CanSkate Day of Champions is Thursday, March 1, 2012
  • No skating on Thursday, December 29, 2011 and January 5, 2012

PrePowerSkate

 

  • Mondays 5:30-6:20 - 50 Minute session
  • Ages 5 and over (must be 5 by December 31, 2011) or have skated one season in CanSkate Level 1
  • Focusing on preparation for hockey including Basic skating skills and techniques in a powerskating environment (forwards, backwards, stopping, turning, agility and balance)
  • Starts Monday, September 26, 2011
  • Ends Monday, March 5, 2012
  • 20 weeks
  • $335.00 registration*
  • Learn with Certified CanPowerSkate Instructor assisted by Trained Program Assistants
  • CanSkate Day of Champions is Thursday, March1, 2012
  • No skating on Octber 10, December 26, January 2 and February 20
  • Hockey helmet with cage, hockey gloves and stick required

CanPower Skate

 

  • Mondays 6:30-7:20
  • Unique skills award program geared to all ages who have basic forward and
    backward skating skills with a focus on balance, power, agility, speed, endurance and some puck handling
  • Hockey players and future hockey players can enhance their skills with this program
  • Full hockey equipment required
  • Learn with certified powerskating instructors and program assistants

 

OUT OF CLUB SKATERS ON STARSKATE INTERMEDIATE/SENIOR $500 PER DAY

GUEST SKATE FEE FOR IN CLUB $10 PER SESSION

GUEST SKATE FEE FOR OUT OF CLUB $20 PER SESSION (limited sessions)

 STARSkate ~ Introductory 

 

Skaters who have completed Stage 4 badge.

Focus is on figure skating and entering into the Skate Canada test stream.

In a fast paced and interactive setting promoting advanced skating skills.

Group lessons, with the opportunity to add private instruction.

Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:20

  • Ends Wednesday, April 25
  • 28 weeks

  • Ends Friday April 27th

  • $525.00 registration*

No skating on October 10, December 26, December 30, January 2, January 6, February 20, March 12, and March 16

 

 

STARSkate ~ Intermediate

 

Skaters who have completed a full season on a Private Instruction session and are working in the Skate Canada Test Stream.  Skaters must contract with a Skate Kingsville Professional Coach.

  • Mondays 4:00-5:20
  • Thursdays 7:00 to 8:20
  • Fridays 4:00 to 5:20

September 26 to April 27

  • 3 sessions per week
  • 28 weeks
  • $800.00 registration * ($100 per month)

Adult Synchro

A unique enrichment program combining the elements of SynchroSkate and Starskate program standards to develop strength, aerobic capacity, and fitness instructed by a Proffessional Synchro Coach. This session focuses on power stroking, edge development and turn quality.

Registration $425

Wednesday 6:30 to 7:20

 

***Adults who are skating Adult SynchroSkate may register for both Adult programs and receive $100 off the combined price. Or may purchase a 14 session pass for Adult StarSkate for $200 and may choose to skate Monday 4-5:20, Thursday 7– 8:20, Friday 4-5:20—any 14 sessions.
