 Maggie Aziz

Hello Parents and Skaters!

My name is Maggie Aziz and I have been skating since the age of 3.

I am a Trained Primary STARSkate coach and will be coaching on the

Intro STARSkate session at Skate Kingsville.

I am also available for Private Lessons at all levels.

In addition to my coaching, I am a grade 12student at Cardinal Carter and an active skater.

I have earned my Gold Dance, Gold SkatingSkills, Gold Interpretive and Gold Freeskate.

Entering  my second year of coaching, I believe that I can bring a fun, new outlook to the sport

of skating. My goal is  to share my love of skating with my students, work with skaters and their

parents to set attainable goals, and help them reach their full potential!

Feel free to contact me by email at maggieaziz@hotmail.com or telephone at

Emilee Fernandes

Since the young age of 3, I have always had a passion for the magic that happens when metal meets ice!

While pursing a competitive synchronized skating

career in Brampton, I had the opportunity to start my coaching career with Humber College Coaching Diploma Program

with Specialization in Figure Skating.

This combined educational experience and competitive skating opportunity has allowed me to become a well rounded coach with

National and International

skating and coaching experiences.  I have now been coaching all disciplines of skating for 6 years from beginners to adult learners.

The same passion that I had during my own skating career is something that I still bring to each one of my skating lessons.
I believe in teaching the fundamentals

of skating and my lessons always focus on the 'how-to' aspect of the sport. The use of teaching progressions and
physical teaching aids are very useful in

teaching correct techniques and I am not afraid to get creative to get the job done!  My coaching philosophy would be that
my skaters are not just skaters, they

are student-athletes. I teach my students the fundamentals in sport as well as fundamental life lessons such as responsibility,
self-discipline, proper mannerisms,

and time management. I believe that any skater given the right opportunity combined with an excellent work ethic
has the capabilities to achieve their goals.
