Welcome To Skate Cornwall
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new and former members to Skate Cornwall’s 2011-12 skating year at our new home, the Benson Centre.
This year will be a very exciting and busy year for our club! In February we will be hosting the Region 4 Interclub, a two day skating competition which will bring some 300 skaters from 16 different skating clubs to our city. As well, in March we will be having an ice show to celebrate our 50th Anniversary of offering skating programs in our community.
Skate Cornwall / Patinage Cornwall offers the following skating programs: Parent/Tot, Canskate, Jr Development, Star Skate, Adult Skate and Power Skating. We have a team of professional coaches who are dedicated to ensuring that all skaters learn new skills while having fun.
To help off-set the costs of our Interclub Competition in February, we are inviting the business community to assist us by coming on board with one of our sponsorship packages. We are a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers. This year we will need at least one hundred volunteers to help with our two day competition.
