Learn to Skate Program Taught by Skate Canada Coaches and Program Assistants

Skaters are required to wear a CSA approved helmet and either hockey or figure skates.  No plastic molded skates please!

The Niagara Falls Skating Academy offers a fun and energetic skating program for the new skater in your family. It is an introduction to skating designed for beginners of all ages. Fundamentals are taught in a group lesson format by NCCP certified coaches.   These skills prepare the skaters for figure skating, hockey, ringette or recreational skating.  Through the use of props, outstanding coaching staff, age appropriate music and badge incentives, your child will learn the essential skills for the wonderful sport of skating.

Sessions are grouped based on skill level and number of skaters in the program: Orange, Yellow, Purple, Green, Blue and Red.   Stages 1-6 badges are earned and rewarded throughout skaters progression in these coloured groups.

Upon completion of Level 4 = graduation to Junior CanPowerskate Group or Pre-Junior STARSkate Group.
