Club Mission Statement
The Medicine Hat Skating Club will promote and provide high quality skating programs for individuals of all ages in a friendly and safe environment. We will provide and develop all skating skills for hockey, fuigure skating, or recreational skating, as well as good sportsmanship, competitive spirit and life skills to our members.
The purpose and philosophy of the Medicine hat Skating Club is to encourage the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of its members in all aspects of skating in accordance with the rules and policies of Skate Canada. All of our coaches are nationally certified with Skate Canada.
The objectives of the Medicine Hat Skating Club are to provide children aged 3 and up with a high quality of instruction in basic ice/figure skating in both group and private lesson situation. Our second objective is to encourage and enable all skaters to progress through the Skate Canada badge system. The third objective is to identify interested skaters and to inform them and their parents regarding the Medicine Hat Skating Club Test and Competitive programs.
