Skate Canada to offer special Summer Sizzle packages to the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International
(July 5, 2007 - Ottawa, ON) - Skate Canada is offering a special limited time discount for all-event ticket packages for the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International, which takes place Nov. 1- 4 at the Colisée Pepsi in Québec City, Québec.
Anyone
who purchases an all-event ticket package between July 9 - 31,
2007 will receive a 15 per cent discount on the regular all-event
ticket package price. The special discount brings the all-event
ticket prices to $123.25 and $106.25, plus applicable surcharges.
“We’re encouraging fans to plan their mini winter break early and take in the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International in Québec City, one of the most beautiful winter destinations in the world,” said Jackie Stell-Buckingham, Skate Canada Director of Skating Programs and Events. “This is an excellent opportunity to see some of the world’s best skaters compete for international titles as they begin to set their sights on the 2010 Games in Vancouver.”
Fans in Québec City will be treated to performances from some of the world’s best skaters as they compete for the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International titles. The event will feature outstanding talent, including:

HomeSense Skate Canada International is the second of six competitions in the yearly International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. The other events take place in the United States, China, France, Russia and Japan. Skaters are awarded points based on their placements in the series’ events. The top-six men and ladies and top-six pair and ice dance teams qualify for the ISU Grand Prix Final.
