All-event ticket packages for the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International go on sale Dec. 15
(December 11, 2006 - Quebec City, QC) - Skate Canada announced today that all-event ticket packages for the 2007 HomeSense Skate Canada International will go on sale on Friday, Dec. 15 at 12 p.m. (EST).
The event will take place Nov. 1 - 4, 2007 at the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City.
All-event ticket packages cost $145 and $125 including taxes, plus applicable surcharges. All-event ticket packages will be available for purchase at the Colisée Pepsi box office, by phone at 418-691-7211 or 1-800-900-SHOW or online at www.billetech.com.
“Skate Canada is looking forward to bringing this major international competition to Quebec City,” said William Thompson, Skate Canada CEO. “The city has a very strong figure skating community, and we anticipate an extremely exciting event next fall.”
This event was last held in Quebec City in 2002. The economic impact for Quebec City is anticipated to be approximately $4 million.
HomeSense Skate Canada International is the second of six competitions in the annual International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. The other events take place in the United States, China, France, Russia and Japan. Skaters are awarded points based on their placements in the series’ events. The top-six men and ladies and the top-six pair and ice dance teams qualify for the ISU Grand Prix Final.
