Nexxice earns bronze at synchronized skating international event in Milan

Nexxice, who are ranked third in the senior competitive discipline in Canada, came home from the 2006 Spring Cup with a bronze medal.

The 2006 Spring Cup, an international synchronized skating competition, was held Feb. 10-12 in Milan, Italy.

Nexxice stood in second-place following the short program after earning a score of 58.02. They were third in the free skate with a score of 91.57, which gave them a combined total of 149.59 points and the bronze medal.

Germany’s Team Berlin 1 won the gold medal with a total score of 153.77, while the American team Miami University finished second with 150.92 points.
