More... 2006 top 12 skaters to skip 2007 qualifying round Following the cancellation of the Qualifying Free Skating round at all ISU Championships, Skate Canada has modified the rules regarding who must skate in the qualifying round at the BMO Financial Group Canadian Championships. Skaters who were ranked in the top 12 in last year’s Canadian Championships will proceed directly to the short program. Only skaters who were ranked 13th and lower at the 2006 BMO Financial Group Canadian Championships will be required to skate the 2007 qualifying round.
