Fernie Skating Club
The Fernie Skating Club is currently looking for a figure skating coach with a minimum Level 2 NCCP accredidation.  Our season runs from the beginning of September to the end of March with spring school in April and summer school in August.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to coach skaters from beginning STARSkate to Competitive in all disciplines.  Registration in the club in 2009 was over 100 skaters.  We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated, motivated and works well in a team environment. It would be considered an asset for the successful candidate to have completed gold and competitive tests.  Knowledge of the current judging format is important.  Fernie is located in the southeast corner of British Columbia.  It is in a pristine environment with many amenities including a world class ski hill, fly fishing, golfing, boating, camping.  It is also close to both US and Alberta retail centers.

Golden Figure Skating Club
Position - Skate Canada NCCP Certified Coach Level 1 or higher for the 2010/2011 skating season
Job Description - Director of Skating who can instruct levels from Preschool, Canskate, Jr Acadamy, Jr and Sr STARSkate.
Available hours 19.5 per week.
Our season runs from Sept to March, with the possibility of having a summer school at the end of Aug. Our star skaters range from pre-prelim up to Gold. Terrace Skating Club
Terrace Skating Club (www.terraceskatingclub.com) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and organized Club Coach with NCCP Level 1 or higher, for the 2010/2011 season.  Willing to work in all  programs: CanSkate, TotSkate, AdultSkate, StarSkate/Competitive, and CanPower.  Able to teach all leveled skaters from special needs to competitive and able to work with other coaches, parents, and volunteers.  TSC has around 150 skaters.

Calgary Winter Club
The Calgary Winter Club (www.calgarywinterclub.com) is seeking a highly motivated Head Skating Professional to lead a strong team of 5 professional coaches, amateur skating assistants and administrative assistants in planning, organizing and delivering a skating program that encourages both recreational and competitive skaters. Our program includes the CompetitiveSkate and STARSkate Skate Canada programs, spin and stroking classes, learn-to-skate, fast track, adult and private lessons.

Applicants must have proven coaching experience, minimum Level 2 NCCP Certification (Level 3 preferred), and current first aid.  Competitive involvement nationally or internationally as a skater is preferred.

Rich Valley Skating Club
The Rich Valley Skating Club is a small rural community club about 1 hour west of Edmonton. We are looking for a NCCP certified, part-time coach, with current first aid, able to plan, organize and deliver CanSkate, CanPower (depends on registration numbers) and StarSkate (up to and including jr. bronze and some senior bronze dances) programs. Our club currently consists of about 60 children ranging in age from 3-18 years. We have 8 hours of ice-time per week (late afternoon to early evening) and run from mid-October to late March.

Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club Athletic Centre Job Postings
The KWSC is located in the twin cities of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, 100 Km (60 miles) west of Toronto. Our home facility is the Carolyn Fedy Skating Centre, in Waterloo at the RIM Park complex, which includes four Olympic size rinks, a mirrored, hardwood studio space, an athletic centre, food concessions, and a skate shop. In existence since 1938, the KWSC organizes programs from pre-school to adults. We operate competitive programs that have sent Singles Skaters, Dance Pairs, Freeskate Pairs, and Synchronized Teams to compete in the Canadian Championships, as well as International Competitions. The KWSC is one of Canada's largest figure skating clubs.

Athletics Manager
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Athletics Manager will take responsibility for all aspects of the operations of off ice facilities and services including the development and management of programs and staff within the KWSC Athletic Centre. The Athletic Centre includes a fully equipped fitness facility, conditioning room and studio space that provide convenient access for off-ice conditioning, training services, and assessments for KWSC skaters and the general public. 
This position is 25 hours per week. Salary commensurate with experience.

Executive Director
Reporting directly to the KWSC Board of Directors, the Executive Director will take responsibility for all aspects of club operations including both on and off ice programs within the KWSC. This leadership position will ensure that all initiatives and strategic plans are fully implemented and will take full responsibility for the Profit and Loss of the KWSC.

Technical Manager
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Technical Manager will take responsibility for all aspects of the development and management of on ice programs including the development and management of coaching staff within the KWSC at all levels, in all disciplines, in multiple facilities across the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
This position is 25 hours per week. Salary commensurate with experience.

Learn to Skate Coordinator
Reporting to the Skating Director, the Learn to Skate Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the development, management and activities of all Learn to Skate and CanSkate programs.

The Oakville Skating Club operates out of several facilities in Oakville and we are looking to increase our coaching staff. 
We are looking for coaches that are team players, creative, energetic and highly motivated. Applicants will work under the direction of the Skating Director and must be able to interact with skaters, coaches and parents.
This position will involve coaching CanSkate and STARSkate level skaters, as well as being involved and participating in club activities including competitions, special event days, ice shows galas, etc. 

Level 3 Certified/competitive Coach
The Oakville Skating Club is continually developing new and exciting programs to enhance the development of young skaters, and provide the resources and tools needed grow our competitive program.  We are looking for a full time staff member that is passionate, dedicated and competitive. 
The applicant needs to be up-to-date and knowledgeable with the CPC system, and be familiar with the current Competitive & STARSkate Technical requirements.
The successful candidate must be willing to attend competitions and test days throughout the year.
