Elkford Figure Skating Club
The Elkford Figure Skating Club is looking for a Skate Canada registered and NCCP Level 2 or higher certified coach to lead our club. Our season runs from the middle of September to the Middle of March. We also have an end of the year ice show as well as fun days throughout the season. We have 12 hrs of ice time with 2 hrs of off-ice per week.

Fraser Lake Skating Club
Fraser Lake Skating Club is looking for a Skate Canada registered coach with a minimum NCCP Level 1, but NCCP Level 2 would be preferred. We have 40-50 skaters that are 3 to adult, CanSkate, STARSkate, and CanPowerSkate are all offered. We attend 3 competitions a year with 7-10 girls and boys. Our season is October to March. We are looking to hire a head coach who must be a NCCP - Intermediate STARSkate/Provincial Coach. We are also looking for a NCCP Primary STARSkate Coach.

Peace River Skating Club
The Peace River Skating Club in Peace River, Alberta is looking for minimum NCCP Level 1 Certified Coaches to lead our CanSkate and Jr. STARSkate programs and assist in the delivery of our Sr. Starskate program for the 2010-2011 season. Our season begins mid September and runs to the end of March with approximately 14 hours of ice per week. Rich Valley Skating Club
The Rich Valley Skating Club is currently looking for a part-time certified coach with current first aid who is able to plan, organize and deliver CanSkate and StarSkate programs (up to jr. bronze). Our club consists of up to 60 children ranging in age from 3-18 years. We have up to 8 hours of skating time allotted to us per week (late afternoon to early evening, 2-3 nights per week) and run from mid-October to late March. Estevan Skating Club
Estevan Skating Club is looking for a Full Time or Part Time Coach for the 2010-2011 skating season. Applicant must hold a NCCP Level 1 or higher certified and hold a valid First Aid Certificate and be a registered Skate Canada Coaching Member. We have around 20 star skaters from beginner to gold level and also run a canskate program with 115 skaters. Power skating certification would also be an asset. We have approximately 30 skaters in total who require mostly private lessons, with a possibility for semi-private and group lessons. Hours are on Mondays through Fridays from 4:00 to 6:30pm with occasional morning ice. We have an active and enthusiastic executive, available to support the coach and the programs. Skate Fort Qu'Appelle is currently seeking a NCCP Primary STARSkate Coach for the 2010 - 2011 season. We are a small club with an average of 30 - 35 skaters. Our season runs from October until March with ice times on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Contract Job Opportunity August 23- 26, 2010
Choreographer / Artist Director

Kitchener-Waterloo Skating club is accepting applications for the role of Artistic Director for our Star Skate “Stars on Ice” Camp. This camp will be hosted at the Carolyn Fedy Skating Centre in Waterloo, August 23rd – August 27th.

The Artistic Director will work with the Camp Director to plan and produce a small ice show at the end of the camp. Skaters enrolled in the camp will be grouped and with the Directors help, pick music, plan simple costumes and create numbers that reflect the skaters skill level. These groups will come together on the 4th day to perform as a “cast”. Day 5 (the 27th) will be run by the Camp Director as a wind down party and clean up day, the choreographer will not be required to attend that day.

The Artistic Director will be required to work with the skaters during approximately 16 hours of ice during days 1 through 4. We are focusing on the skaters having fun, using their skating skills and being involved in the decisions in the development of the show. There will be senior skaters on-site, on and off the ice to help work with the groups.

Candidates must meet NCCP qualifications and be registered with Skate Canada.

Skate Canada - Mount Forest is located 40 minutes west of Orangeville and 40 minutes north of Guelph at the cross roads of Hwy 6 and Hwy 89.

We are a growing club of 95 members who have CanSkate, CanPowerSkate, PreJunior, TeenSkate, STARSkate, Adult Learn to Skate and a recreational Adult synchro team. Our club has ice times on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We’re looking for a NCCP – Intermediate STARSkate/Provincial Coach or a very experienced NCCP Primary STARSkate Coach who is willing to coach at least two of the three days. Dartmouth Skating Club
The Dartmouth Skating Club is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, motivated and organized individual to be a club coach for the upcoming season; they must be Skate Canada registered and ISPC Certified or have their NCCP Level 3.
