The 2007 Canada Winter Games were held Feb. 23 - March 10 in Whitehorse, Yukon. The figure skating events, which included novice, pre-novice and Special Olympics categories, got underway on March 5 and ended on March 8. During the Games, a total of 2,649 athletes competed in 22 sports, and were accompanied by 457 coaches, 238 team managers and 239 mission staff.
