Oct. 18 was a very exciting day for five lucky skating fans from Saint John, N.B.

The five fans - Ethel Harrison, of Grand Bay-West Field, N.B., Shirley Fifield, of Saint John, Sara Nickerson, of Lower Greenwich, N.B., Diane Plant, of Quispamsis, N.B., and Kara Tiffin, of Saint John - each won a pair of all-event tickets to the 2004 MasterCard Skate Canada International through an in-store promotion that was held at the HomeSense store located in the First Westmoreland Shopping Centre in Saint John.

"Winning the tickets to the 2004 MasterCard Skate Canada International really made my day," said Harrison. "My husband and I absolutely love skating. We are so thrilled to be going to the event."

The all-event ticket packages include admission to the four days of competition, as well as practices.

"We have followed skating for a long time, and we are looking forward to it (2004 MasterCard Skate Canada International)," added Harrison.
