MONCTON, NB – At the conclusion of the highly successful 2012 Canadian Figure Skating Championships Skate Canada CEO William Thompson and High Performance Director Mike Slipchuk named the teams for the three upcoming ISU Championships.

"The level of skating here this week from novice to junior and senior has been tremendous. We’ve seen champions come from many different parts of the country, which shows that our Skate Canada sections are working really hard to develop skating in their regions," said Thompson. "As we prepare to send our skaters out to the championships, we are confident that they will challenge for the podium and championship titles with the best in the world at both the senior and junior level. We will be sending very strong teams to the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in France, ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in Colorado and the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Belarus."
