The Queen’s Golden Gales have reclaimed the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Figure Skating Championships.

The Golden Gales, who won seven straight OUA figure skating titles starting in the 1994-1995 season, won the event, which was held Feb. 14-15 at Rim Park in Waterloo, Ont., with a total of 91 points, just one point ahead of the Western Mustangs, who finished the event in second with 90 points.

The Western Mustangs were the defending champions, having captured the title the past two years.

Rounding out the top-three was the team from the University of Toronto. The Varsity Blues earned a total of 82 points.

The host team, the Waterloo Warriors, finished the event in fourth-place.
